October 9 is the last day to register to vote in the November 2018 mid-term election.  Encourage your students and folks who are unable to be in town on November 6 to sign up for an absentee ballot. You can register in person or online. Be sure your friends and neighbors are registered! Click here to register online.

Check out ELCAvotes! ELCAvotes is an initiative to: expand the role of the church in encouraging faithful and non-partisan voter participation. From the ELCA Social Policy Resolution “Voting Rights to All Citizens” adopted August 2013: “[It is] resolved, that members, congregations, and synods of this church be encouraged to “promote public life worthy of the name” by speaking out as an advocate and engaging in local efforts such as voter registration and supporting legislation to guarantee the right to vote to all citizens …”
