Learn how state funding issues have affected local school districts at a public forum near you. Partners in the Coalition for Fair Education Funding are organizing events around the state. Attend and learn how to advocate for a good foundation for the future of ALL of our children, regardless of their zip code.
First Evangelical Lutheran in Chambersburg hosted a well-attended forum in January. Read coverage of the event.

Four are planned in south-central Pennsylvania at this time. Two others are planned for Pittsburgh and Philadephia. All are free and open to the public. LAMPa will post as future events are scheduled. If your congregation would like to host or help organize a forum in your area, please contact LAMPa.

At three of these forums, panelists will make brief opening remarks to present how state funding issues have affected their school districts. Education Voters will share information about how people can advocate for fair and adequate state funding for all public schools. Panelist presentations will be followed by time for forum attendees to submit questions that moderators will ask the panelists. All legislators who represent school districts in the county have been invited to the forum so that they can learn about issues facing specific districts and better understand the concerns of voters in their own legislative districts.

Pre-registration is recommended, but not necessary. To register, please click here.
