How do rostered leaders faithfully respond to the Supreme Court decision to rescind Roe v. Wade?

United Lutheran Seminary will host a special virtual event for rostered leaders of the church on Aug. 3 at 7 p.m.

The ELCA published a social statement on Abortion in 1991. Lutherans have acknowledged that this is a very complicated issue with ramifications for all its membership. Now that the Supreme Court has overturned the Roe v. Wade precedent, we need to re-examine our social statement in order to better engage with our ministry contexts in a
faithful and transparent manner. United Lutheran Seminary is working with the ELCA Witness in Society team to present this timely review on Aug. 3 at 7 p.m. via Zoom. The cost is $10. Register here.
