Join your friends at Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in Pennsylvania and watch lawmakers from both sides of the aisle team up against hunger on Sept. 30 at Metro Bank Park in Harrisburg.

Nearly one out of every six, or about 1.9 million, Pennsylvanians is at risk of hunger and may not know where their next meal is coming from.  As part of Hunger Awareness Month, Pennsylvania Cable Network and the Pennsylvania Legislative Services  are joining in the fight to combat hunger in our state by sponsoring the first ever Capitol All-Stars Softball Game.

The game will begin at 5:30 p.m. at Metro Bank Park on City Island in Harrisburg. General admission will be a five-dollar ticket donation or a donation of five non-perishable food items

Proceeds from the game, which will feature East and West teams, will benefit Feeding Pennsylvania and Hunger-Free Pennsylvania. Both organizations are dedicated to relieving hunger for the more than two million Pennsylvanians in need through their statewide network of affiliated food banks, food pantries, and other hunger relief organizations.
