Lutheran Day attendees heard beautiful stories of service and advocacy during a celebratory luncheon as we gave thanks for the ways in which God is calling us to this ministry around the Commonwealth.  Bishops, in consultation with policy council representatives from their synods, offered names of individuals or congregations to share their stories and be thanked as part of a recognition of those who live into the call to “Serve. Pray. Speak.”  It is hoped that this will become an annual way of learning and drawing inspiration from one another.

The following individuals and congregations were recognized. Follow the links to read how their faith has called them to live into their baptismal call to “seek justice and peace in all the earth.”
