Webinar on Pregnant and Parenting Youth Experiencing Homelessness
June 19 @ 3:00 pm - 4:00 pm
Many youth in the U.S. who are experiencing homelessness are pregnant or parenting – 44% of young women are pregnant or mothers, and 18% of young men have a pregnant partner or are fathers. Chapin Hall estimates that as many as 1.1 million children have a young parent who experienced homelessness in the past year.
What are the implications of these findings for policy, for services, for practitioners, and for prevention? Please join Chapin Hall at the University of Chicago for a webinar about the Voices of Youth Count Research to Impact Brief: Pregnant and Parenting Youth Experiencing Homelessness.
The webinar will be held on Tuesday, June 19 from 3 to 4 p.m. eastern time. Register for the webinar here. Chapin Hall researchers will review key findings and recommendations, and representatives from the National Alliance to End Homelessness and the National Network for Youth will discuss their key takeaways from the brief.
Presenters will include:
Dr. Amy Dworksy, Chapin Hall
Dr. Matt Morton, Chapin Hall
Sharon McDonald, National Alliance to End Homelessness
Darla Bardine, National Network for Youth
