Lutherans Restoring Creation Connections Call Features DePasquale

May 6, 2020

Everyone is invited to join the monthly Lutherans Restoring Creation Connections Call on Wednesday, May 6 at 1 p.m. EST. Lutheran Advocacy Ministry in Pennsylvania (LAMPa) Director Tracey DePasquale is the featured speaker.

During this time of upheaval we continue to find hope and different ways to engage in our communities. This global upset has touched many circles that have otherwise been immune to the insecurity other communities have lived with for decades. May we all move to the other side of this experience with a new lens of awareness that will result in genuine advocacy for all our neighbors.

Lutherans Restoring Creation is a grassroots movement promoting care for creation in the Evangelical Lutheran Church in America. This is accomplished by cultivating a network of dedicated stewards of earth and neighbor who proclaim God’s promise of hope and healing for all.

To join the Connections Call dial 888-602-2749. A challenge to all prior to the call: try to find out what local environmental and social justice legislative issues are being debated (or should be) in your area and start to imagine a plan to engage your church community in awareness-driven responses. Learn Why are Lutherans called to advocate?
