Civil Conversations Faciliator Training
August 28 - September 27
Interfaith Philadelphia continues A Year of Civil Conversations throughout the Greater Philadelphia region. Engaging over 50 organizations, including the ELCA Southeastern Pennsylvania Synod, they will offer multiple opportunities to learn how to “speak together differently in order to live together differently.”
Interfaith Philadelphia will offer two Virtual facilitator trainings that will give participants the skills to organize Civil Conversations in their congregations, workplaces, and communities. These sessions offer community leaders and “bridge people” techniques for grassroots civil conversations that support a thriving religiously diverse democracy. Participants will receive a Civil Conversations facilitator kit to use in their own work going forward.
Virtual Facilitator trainings are scheduled for:
Wednesday, August 28, 2019 | 5:30 – 7:00 pm
Friday, September 27, 2019 | 9:30 – 11:00 am
Participants need only attend one of these training dates in order to become a Civil Conversations facilitator. To learn more and register click here.
