Is your congregation, camp, campus ministry interested in protecting Pennsylvania’s waterways or taking your hunger ministry to another level? Lutherans are being invited to opportunities for service — from growing native plants on private or church property to planting trees in parks or donated land, to processing fresh produce for charitable kitchens and pantries.  That service can be a great opportunity for educating our communities and advocating for wise public policy. The opportunity to pilot new ways of linking stewardship of the earth to love of neighbor is connected to a new state watershed protection program discussed at Lutheran Day 2016.  If interested, contact LAMPa for more details. Grant funds may be available.
